All Dolled Up, Inc is a family owned and operated company that focuses on one of the African American community’s oldest and most successful industries; African American Hair Care! African American hair care is a billion dollar industry. Although corporate America and its globalization efforts have led to penetration of manufactured import based products such has hair extensions, styling tools, and even shampoo. African Americans have remained the sole majority benefactor of this service based revenue stream in this booming industry. All Dolled Up has led the way with expanding its operations into the tri-county areas of south Florida. Multiple salon locations have contributed to jobs and returning the African American dollar into the communities it serves.
As a full service African American themed salon, All Dolled Up fills a large niche that no one else is exploiting. Consumer trends clearly indicate demand for hair care services increasing but at the same time a resistance to paying the high prices associated with high end, independent salons. With broad based predominantly white franchise salons, single service providers such as barber shops (some only catering to men and children) on one end; poorly managed booth rental systems; and expensive independent salons on the other end; no one but All Dolled Up fills the large gap in the middle - the full service african american hair salon with professionalism, trends, and reasonable prices. |
