At Madam Walkers Braidery we offer natural hair care and the latest styles in braids and locks. We havea ceritfied SisterLocks (TM) consultant on staff. The Braidery has been at the forefront of groung breaking legislation in Maryland. As members of AHNAH we were invited to our Govenors office for the signing of the bill which exempts natural hair care providers from cosmetology law. Mrs. Walker and her Son, Shanti, have been featured in many braid and natural hair care magazines, television and news papers for their ingenuity, creativity and superior customer service. The courses that they offer to professional stylists at MWB speaks proudly of their ability to enhance and train others in sanitation and hygiene, advanced braiding, weaving and locking. We encourage chemical stylists as well as natural hair care professionals to continue to grow their businesses by taking classes and teaching others proper salon technique and etiquette.
