It must be dry and split ends; I just don't seem to get rid of it. My hair length is just below the shoulder, not course neither soft but somewhere in between and I cut it occasionally. i use both shampoo and conditioner. I also sometimes use an olive oil based moisturiser but the results only feel short term. Will you please help because I don't know what I'm doing wrong? I hardly ever use ironing or heating systems as they tend to dry out my hair and leave it even more dry and brittle. My hair is natural black as I don't colour it and this is because I'm afraid it might cause even more brittleness and dryness. I don't relax it any more but I suppose the relaxer which I used about seven months ago is still in my hair because my natural curls have almost vanished. It's straight but frizzy when it's dry and somewhat curly but unmanageable when wet. At the same time as my hair is quite dry it's also quite oily on the scalp which is quite confusing. Also I quite often tie my hair back with a scarf sort of a bandana on my hair and I'm a bit concerned that it might be pulling my hair back and in that way cause damage to my hair. Is there any type of material I can use that doesn't cause damage to my hair? I would be grateful if you could find a solution to any of the problems I've stated above. Thank you

If you relax your hair at home it could be the way you relax it.
Contact a professional stylist so that they may look at your hair to
see if it is the products that you use on your hair. Use a silk scarf
